# Download your Minecraft server's files

We understand you may need to download a copy of your Minecraft server's files for safekeeping or archival. We've outlined the easiest way to do so below:

This will include all your server's files, excluding any MySQL databases created via the **Databases** tab.

1. Head to our game panel at [panel.lilypad.gg](https://panel.lilypad.gg) and select your server

2. Go to the **Files** tab in the sidebar

3. Press the **Download all files** button at the top - this will download a .zip file to your computer containing all your server's files

**Want to download just your server's world to view locally or share with friends?**
You can instead right-click the `world` folder in the **Files** tab and select **Download** which will download a .zip file to your computer, containing just your server's world.

| Need to reupload a backup to a Lilypad server in the future? If it's less than 10GB, you can just drag + drop it into the **Files** tab of your panel, then right-click and select **Extract** once uploaded. If larger than 10GB, [upload via SFTP](/en/article/access-your-servers-files-with-sftp-8crsjh/) using the details at the top of the **Files** tab then extract in the panel once complete.
